HONORING THE PAST, PROGRESSING TOWARDS THE FUTURE.
As our country becomes more divided politically and economically, people inherently have a need to connect and identify with something we can feel proud of as Americans. As an artist, a promoter, and a concerned citizen, it is my personal as well as my social responsibility to care and think more deeply about American life and the ways in which I choose to participate. We can’t turn back the clock to the days of the “front porch”, when the American family and small farmer were still intact, but we can choose to honor the common sense values taught to us by our fathers and mothers by staying connected to our roots and the lands upon which we live and recreate. By honoring our past, we can better progress towards our future offering a deeper sense of alliance, hope and wisdom to pass down to our future generations.
